Conflict impact analysis for the Habitat for Humanity / SIDA shelter and reconstruction programme in Mazar-e Sharif and surrounding districts (Kaldar, Marmul, Balkh province). Commissioned following the HiH SIDA programme proposal (October 2010), the analysis was implemented by ARC with AHRRAO as local field partner and Genevieve Goulding as additional consultant.

Tasks included:

Results: Conflict impact analysis report (final, with maps); project monitoring framework (PMF); conflict-sensitive programming recommendations for HiH/SIDA; subcontract documentation (AHRRAO and G. Goulding). The report drew directly on ARC's existing knowledge of North Afghan conflict dynamics from the SPNA research programme.
