Team leadership for the final impact evaluation (Wirkungsschlussevaluierung) of the GIZ Regional Capacity Development (RCD) programme in North Afghanistan. The evaluation combined a qualitative field component with a dedicated statistical analysis of the effects of RCD-supported public hearings on citizens' trust in government, drawing on ARC's longitudinal survey data from North Afghanistan (2010–2018). Two short reports were produced (English August 2017; German August 2018), alongside the full statistical analysis paper.

Results: Final evaluation report RCD (EN 2017, DE 2018); statistical analysis paper "The effects of RCD public hearings on trust in government" (ANOVA, logistic and linear regression); recommendations for GIZ governance programming in post-ISAF Afghanistan.
