Update of the Afghanistan Peace and Conflict Assessment for GIZ under contract VN81303444. Both Jan Koehler and Kristóf Gosztonyi contributed expert days (time records confirmed for both). The ToR was issued December 2023. Given the post-2021 context of Taliban rule, the assessment relied on remote research methods, secondary sources and ARC's network of local contacts. Results: Updated Afghanistan Peace and Conflict Assessment; literature review; policy implications for GIZ programming under Taliban governance. Final invoice settled March 2024.
